Some of the most fierce shoes I’ve seen in a long time, naturally by Jeffrey Campbell, are causing religious devotion: the NSFW, the Damsel Cross Spike and the Holy Stud Booties. Here they are and a few things I want to be wearing with them.

Lanston Cross Back Mini Shift Dress

In line with the cheeky religious theme, this black dress — called the Godspeed dress by UNIF would be a super sexy choice for either the Holy shoes or the NSFW. That is cool if you want to go all out amped up, but for everyday – I’d keep it more subtle. I think a simple t-shirt fabric shift dress with long sleeves is perfection with the Holy shoes, the NSFW or the Nightcross shoes below. It’s a nice comfortable dress that lets the shoes be the star.

I like both of these pairs of JC shoes with a pair of jeans or leggings – this pair with crosses all over may be a bit much but I couldn’t resist – they are really cool and sometimes it’s fun to go all out with something. The denim long sleeve shirt is a staple that works with skirts, shorts, leggings, over a dress making it a good go to. I think this bleached out denim shirt is particularly cool with the edginess of these booties.

You could throw on a tank or t-shirt with a cool fishtail skirt to show off your shoes, and your legs. This black tiered skirt works particularly well with the NSFW booties because it is short in the front drawing attention to that amazing safety pin cross detail. The zebra shorts would be sweet with the Holy heelless shoes. I’d wear a long drapey top or huge grey sweater with them.

One more cross pair of shoes I can’t resist adding into this mix here is the Jeffrey Campbell NightCross. These are dramatic and definitely sure to turn heads. They combine a nightwalk with the details of the Holy Shoe but instead of on the back of the shoe – the studded cross is featured on the side of the tall boot. These are going fast – so if you see your size, scoop them up.

Nightcross

The nightcross shoes are edgy and have a lot going on so I would keep the outfit pretty simple as far as color goes and would experiment with shapes and proportion in shades of grey, and black. I think a pair of grey or black leggings or tights would be great. A harem type pant even better if like me, you like that sort of thing. A tunic in an interesting shape and a great jacket either really fitted or something oversized and avant-garde.
