Rouges Biker Boots
If you love the Brit Boots and crave a short biker boot, the Jeffrey Campbell Rouges boots are a must see.
Also similar to the JC France boots which are a pair of strappy boots that look like the Rouges but with stacked heels, these boots are made for walkin’. If you need a pair of flat boots that you can wear for days, this short ankle boot from master shoe designer Jeffrey Campbell is a super hot option. In either brown distressed leather or black leather with a buckle – they are short, showing off lots of leg so your legs look super long. These boots look great with shorts, with jeans, with skirts, dresses, maxi dresses and so on.
They have a double buckle wrapped around the leather booties – very motorcycle biker chic.
If you like short biker boots but want to amp it up a bit in the color department, check out the Blush Booties in bright blue suede or these short red Blush motorcycle JC boots – so hot. The Blush boots by Campbell have a 1.25″ stacked wood heel and a shaft height of 5.5″. Because they are so short, you don’t have to worry about fitting the calves, especially if you have large calves or want to show yours off.
Go super glam in a pair of shiny leggings or skinny jeans or a mini skirt and a huge rock and roll jacket over it. A big fur would work but I am really digging this shaggy black coat and like the price on it. The shaggy jacket also comes in off white – both are fabulous. Lots of drama for not a lot of cash. Naturally, a pair of hot shades will be crucial to complete the look. I love anything by Nicole Richie – the House of Harlow line is full of incredible jewelry, shoes, bags and sunglasses – this pair is THE pair. Obviously, these pieces can be easily dressed up with a pair of stilettos, a Lita bootie and the like but I think wearing them with a flat short boot like the Jeffrey Campbell Rouges is perfect for day when you have things to get done and still want to look like a rock star.
A sweet little dress would be perfect with these little motorcycle boots. This champagne one has a cool flapper quality that is so adorable. And just like the black minkpink shaggy knit, the off white shaggy knit by MinkPink is pretty glorious and terrific to wear with Jeffrey Campbell booties. I like either for fall with a pair of biker boots and if it is cold, just add wool thigh highs or tights.
Here is one denim option. I am all for wide leg and bell bottoms personally but a skinny jean works well with a pair of boots like this so you can show them off. This sexy slinky skinny pair is priced right at under $80. Another fierce rock star coat in the mix in this Victorian inspired duster – love it with the black Rogues booties.
Take this tie dye maxi dress into fall by pairing it with the Rouges buckle boots. With a little jacket and the rugged short boots – it will look super chic. A cute casual jacket like this army camping jacket would be sweet or you can dress it up with the shaggy knit or the victorian above or a black or brown leather motorcycle jacket would be fantastic!
Obsessed with this (not cheap) military leather jacket – so special in its shape with the fitted waist and flare tails and cool button details. The brown is a celebrity favorite by Mike and Chris that would look pretty sweet with the Rouges Booties.
These are the kind of boots you can really get some use out of – so cute with vintage dresses, and to toughen up your look for fall. One more look:
Short boots for fall/winter – you like them or prefer a tall boot? Is the Jeffrey Campbell Rouges Boot on your short list for fall?
