Here is another one of the newest cool additions to the Lana family – the brown woven Lana. I just checked it out in person and thought it was terrific looking. What do you think of them in this criss crossing brown leather look?
The Lana has a super striking curved wood heel that measures 5.5″ so these babies will definitely give you that extra few inches of height. The platform height is 2.5″ so the heel arch is manageable. The Lana has a cutout heel making them especially appropriate for spring and summer. No need to let the cool go just because the weather is heating up. The Lana heels have a zipper so they are easy to get on and off. Platforms are covered so they are in the fabric of choice, whether it be leopard Lana, Pink Lana, Olive Khaki Canvas or Black Lana – and the heels are thick, tall and pretty in wood.

Lana is an edgy one – with its architectural silhouette, cutout, and extreme platform and heel, it is not for everyone but if you like Lana, wear her well. Jeffrey Campbell always comes out with the coolest prints, textures, colors and fabrics for the shoes and the Lana is no exception. You can buy Lana in Leopard suede, pink suede, bone white leather, taupe suede, multicolor woven fabric, brown waffle weave leather, black leather, blue leather, red leather or olive green canvas.
Here are a few ideas of what to wear with the Jeffrey Campbell Lana Booties for spring and summer. Like most JC Booties, Lana looks really good with all of your vintage clothing. Dresses from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s look super with these modern architectural booties. Jeans, bell bottoms, flare and skinny jeans all work. Shorts, rompers and skirts can all be worn with the cutout heel platform booties.
I am crazy about this mini maxi dress in pale pink with square cutouts at the waist – wherever it leads they call it and the name suits the dress well. This beautiful fishtail hem dress will definitely take you places. It’s by a designer that is new to me – Miss Unkon. Do you like it too? They are avant-garde in a way that complements the Jeffrey Campbell Lana shoes and the JCs well I think.

When I saw this beigey pink top, black bottom romper, I was instantly smitten – it looks sexy, feminine, 70s inspired and sophisticated and it isn’t expensive. I love it with a platform heel and the Lana is a nice match in the pink, black or even the leopard. I also like any of those or the olive green canvas pair with the sexy pale shirt dress above. The breezy simple dress is perfect for spring and lets the Lana shine.
These booties look super fierce with a pair of skin tight jeans or leggings and this red pair would be really good with the leopard, khaki green or black leather Lana. You could pair it with a biker jacket, or a pretty soft 70s feminine tie neck blouse, a drapey t-shirt or a cardigan. Really comfy, easy and hot. This black dress is one of my favorites for spring and I mentioned it in another JC shoes post because I like it so much. Kind of witchy, kind of “with the band” – it’s got the perfect 60s elements with some very now updates – that slinky intricate back, those sleeves – perfect with the black, the pink or the leopard Lanas.

I also love these platform cutout heels with a maxi dress. A simple black 70s style one like this one with a high front slit works but you could also do a great print, something more 60s or 80s or a 90s revival style dress and the Lana cutout heels would be dynamite. Finally, a little cardi kimono style jacket would be great. Something by Winter Kate with Nicole Richie’s boho aesthetic or something vintage like this affordable little kimono cardi.
