Jeffrey Campbell San Diego Platforms
Jeffrey Campbell San Diego Platforms
If you are looking for a pair of sexy 70s inspired platform heels, the Jeffrey Campbell San Diego Platforms are a breath of fresh air for summer.
The Bronze Glitter San Diego pumps are a wonderful glam option for dressing up your outfits. They are gorgeous with sundresses, shorts and jeans in the summer and just as fantastic for fall with layers and autumn colors – the perfect neutral metallic. These 1970s feeling platform pumps are a sweet mix of earthy wood and glittery disco glamour. They are my favorite JC San Diegos yet.
Pink and Tan San Diego Platforms
From the Woodies by Jeffrey Campbell collection, these 70s inspired shoes are a fun pair of tall platforms that look vintage with modern comfort and styling. They have a light birch wood platform of 1.75-2″ on the toe and over a 5″ chunky heel. The coral and tan peep toe front showcases the nice contrasting colors. Or, in the orange, mustard and tan combo – they look really fresh too. The ankle strap is demure and also keeps you feeling sturdy in these very high heels. The San Diego platforms have a bold look but are neutral enough to wear with so many things in your wardrobe.

Here are a few ideas of what to wear with the Jeffrey Campbell San Diego platform heels. These shoes look great with vintage dresses, maxi dresses and mini dresses. They are also adorable with 50s and 60s silhouettes – shift dresses and full skirts. I like them with a really summery maxi dress like this wildflower print flowy one. It is kind of 20s meets 90s and works well with sandals, combat boots or with a platform pump like the San Diego heels. Also a fan of a romper with some chunky platforms. This little denim chambray Riveter Romper is adorable and really cheap. Add the heels for a great look, you could also add a great hat to change it up.

Rosie the Riveter Denim Romper $44
The Jeffrey Campbell San Diego pumps are genius with jeans. I like the look of them with a pair of 1970s jeans or at least 70s inspired jeans. Tight up top, high waist and belled out at the bottom is just right. The feminine San Diegos peeking out under the flare is super cute. This under $100 pair is really cute. The pair on the right is more expensive but they are soo good. Even as someone who doesn’t wear jeans too often, I am drawn to the J. Brand Bette jeans – they 70s styling is right on. Worn by January Jones with a plaid button down, they wowed me. They’d be super with a more bohemian top – something gypsy, drapey, crochet or vintage Mexican embroidered in style as well as with t-shirts and button downs. The San Diego platforms make the jeans look polished and pretty for day or evening and the chunky heels make them wearable.

70s Bette Wide Leg Jeans $219
In addition to the wide leg 70s jeans, these heels would also look good with skinny jeans, harem pants, and shorts. You could wear dressier shorts or go super casual in cutoffs and a t-shirt and the San Diego shoes still work. Dress them up or dress them down, this season is all about the 70s.

Are you having a 1970s moment with the Jeffrey Campbell San Diego Platforms or not so much?
